Music and Recording

What will I do?

This is a production class with a strong music element. We work on a big story through song writing, signing, sound recording, video, internet research and sometimes visual arts work (animation and collage).

Who is it for?

This is a mixed ability class. It will suit students who like music (particularly pop music) and singing. It is also a multi-arts class which means it can appeal to students with different needs. However it is often a big class which makes it harder to do so much one-to-one work.

What will I get out of it?

An opportunity to pick up important transferable work skills including: signing and singing on cue: being able to follow instructions; expressing oneself; working with audio-video technology; team skills. The finished work will appear online once it has been edited which takes some time.
