Volunteering

At the Activities Centre and the offices in Hendon.

Volunteers are a vital part of our team and we rely heavily on their support. It can be a very rewarding experience, gaining skills and companionship as well as satisfaction and status of the role. Every hour makes a difference.

Paula, who supports students in the art class writes: 'You become part of a special community where each person is accepted as they are. It is very rewarding to see the students blossom over time. Personally I have found I have received more than I give.'

All of our courses welcome volunteers to support our students - see our Activities Brochure for details. Or you could help with food preparation for the students' daily lunch, or join the team for events catering and hospitality.
